Girls only tackle football fosters and develops opportunities for girls to play football with, and against other girls. Football provides a unique opportunity for the female youth within our community to create long lasting bonds and friendships within the fast growing sport of female tackle football.

The focus of female tackle football is to keep our girls active in sport, develop football skills, teach teamwork and sportsmanship, all while in a competitive but fun environment. 

Gameplay: 6 a-side football

Season: February to the end of May, provincial play continues into the beginning of June

Practices: Please see below for indoor practice dates. All February practices are Bring-a-Friend, no equipment required practices. Outdoor practices begin in April on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at Larry Olexiuk Field.

Games: One game per week
